Continuing education credit information: This program is approved in MA for 4-hours of NR continuing education credit. Credit for courses approved as NR may be used by Licensed and Certified Residential appraisers as well as Certified General appraisers. The program is approved in NH & RI for 4-hours of continuing education credit.
A panel of experts will be on hand to answer questions you have about residential and commercial zoning and land use issues. The program will cover topics such as:
- The planning/permitting process and subsequent oversight/certification of compliance. How value and marketability can be impacted.
- “Illegal Uses”: How to identify them, how to address the issues, and how to limit your liability as an appraiser.
- “When Properties Don’t Conform”: A discussion of “grand-fathered” rights, legal, non-conforming, and pre-existing use issues.
