GA Update December 2017

MBREA Government Affairs Update
December 2017

Beacon Hill continues to be a beehive of activity even as we approach the end of the year. Recent events resulted in reshuffling of Senate leadership causing a momentary delay in proceedings. As usual though, big ticket items take priority and time to work through.

The current legislative session – the 190th General Court – began in January 2017 and runs through the end of 2018. That’s good news when there are bills pending that we hope to see some action on although presently we are in a holding pattern until the New Year.

MBREA wrote and had filed these four bills in the current session that you may read by clicking on the bill #.
