Important Notice Concerning Virtual Classes:
MBREA’s live streaming seminars are interactive and to participate and receive continuing education credit students must have a computer or device with a camera and audio that allows the instructor to physically see and interact with all students in the class.
 
Please email a copy of your driver’s license to the MBREA office (
staff@mbrea.org) prior to the start of the class as we are required to verify students’ identity.
 
Attendance will be taken at various times during the class.

The class will be conducted using Zoom. Please note the following:

  • A link will be sent to you prior to the class in a separate email. The link is unique and should not be shared.
  • You do not need to have a paid Zoom account. We do recommend that if you have not previously Zoomed, you go to https://zoom.us/ to download their app, and test your camera and audio connections.
USPAP Update Notice: The Appraisal Qualifications Board requires all students in the class possess a copy of the USPAP. MBREA will not be providing the USPAP or student manual for live streamed classes. Students must purchase a copy of USPAP and the student manual directly from the Appraisal Foundation store (link below). The instructor will verify you have a copy of USPAP at the beginning of the class.

Credit info: Approved in CT, MA, NH, RI & VT for 7-hours of continuing education credit. Valid in Maine as an AQB approved course. MBREA is a secondary provider for the Appraisal Foundation.

This presentation consists of material necessary for updating participant's knowledge of the 2020-2021 Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), as required for meeting continuing education requirements for general and residential appraisers. The update covers all of the applicable standards using a combination of lectures and case studies.
