Artificial Intelligence and Appraising
Description: Technology continues to disrupt many professions, including real property valuation. Film cameras, tape measures and clipboards have yielded to digital photography, laser measuring devices and tablets. These changes are small compared to what is occurring in the realm of artificial intelligence, deep learning, and big data. This program overviews the tech revolution as it applies to appraising and offers appraisers guidance for remaining relevant and essential in the future.
Jeff Bradford, Founder & CEO
|3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Description: This session will be dedicated to desktop and hybrid appraisals; the hybrid appraisal (a 3rd party inspects the subject and an appraiser completes the valuation with no personal inspection) is one of the hottest topics in our industry. Gain a USPAP overview of these products and how they work; from the initial order, through the 3rd party inspection process, to the appraisal valuation process, and finally through submission. Our E&O discussion will focus on the liability of these products. Attendees will leave knowing what these appraisals are, what they are used for, and if it is a product for inclusion in their service offerings.
