Credit info: This course has been approved by MA, ME*, NH, VT and RI for 30 hours of qualifying. MA, NH, VT and RI approved this course for 28 hours of continuing education nonresidential credit. This 30 hour qualifying education (28 hour continuing) course offers a basic understanding and knowledge of the residential sales comparison and income approached to appraisal. It includes the valuation principles and procedures applicable to both approaches. With the aid of case studies, students will develop and apply the techniques for market analysis, including the application and use of matched pairs and capitalization rates and gross rent multipliers. Students will learn how to apply and defend the rationale behind market adjustments. A calculator is suggested.
