Program Description
This course provides a high-level overview of the external influences on multifamily real estate markets within the US, and more specifically, within the Boston Metropolitan Area.

Recent performance and trends will be discussed at a high level to understand what drives multifamily real estate investment, development, and financing decisions. Market cycles, portfolio performance, capital market activities, and tenant behavior will be explored as they relate to asset value, performance, and development. Particular attention will be paid to evolving measures of real estate performance in a post-COVID environment.

The material presented in this course is intended to expand on one's existing knowledge base while being relatable and relevant for immediate use in practice. There will be ample opportunity for discussions and Q&A at the end of each section. Participation is encouraged.

Who Should Attend?
Commercial and residential real estate appraisers and review appraisers, commercial and residential lenders, risk managers, underwriters, and policymakers who may have responsibility for real estate, lending, and land-use decision making.
