Scheduling: The 2023 New England Appraisers Expo Commercial Program will take place on October 17,2023 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Attendance: We are required to track each participants attendance which will be done through poll questions which will launch periodically throughout the program. We will not be able to award CE credit to participants who fail to answer all the poll questions.

This panel will kick of the commercial real estate component with a focus on macro-economic trends that are impacting the commercial real estate sector. Topics such as interest rates, debt liquidity and other key market fundamentals will be addressed, nationally and within New England. Paula Thoreen will discuss details around the NCREIF (National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries) Open End Diversified Core Equity Index that reports on institutional grade valuations with a focus on office, industrial and retail. Paula will also address sector specific market outlooks from the perspective of institutional investors and how this is being addressed in valuations.
Multifamily Trends, US and New England

This session will address property market fundamentals that impact affordability, supply and demand, occupancy and rent growth. The panelists will discuss sector specific trends, market outlook, and how market valuations should be approached in today’s environment.
