Scheduling: The 2023 New England Appraisers Expo General & Residential Sessions will take place on October 16, 2023 from 8:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and on October 19, 2023 from 8:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Attendance both days is required to receive CE credit.
Attendance: We are required to track each participants attendance which will be done through poll questions which will launch periodically throughout both days of the programs. We will not be able to award CE credit to participants who fail to answer all the poll questions.
Members: (AI and MBREA): $205
AI members who are not MBREA members should obtain a code from the Chapter office.

Lyle Radke of Fannie Mae, and Scott Reuter of Freddie Mac will participate in a session moderated by Richard Lipof when each will overview collateral policy changes that directly affect residential appraisers. Topics include appraisal modernization, desktop and hybrid assignments, guidance for defining neighborhoods and comparable selection, reporting of market conditions and more. |
Jeff Bradford of Bradford Technologies will wrap up the morning with a presentation on future opportunities for appraisers due to the intended and unintended consequences of the GSE’s appraisal modernization initiative. Included in the presentation will be a comparison between the current “traditional” appraisal process and the new “modern” appraisal process. An overview of new technologies such as GIS, Artificial Intelligence, 3D imagery, and web-based processing and their effect on the appraisal process will be covered. |
