This course provides a broad look at various types of challenging residential appraisal assignments. Three areas of challenging residential appraisal assignments are elaborated on: complex property, ownership interests and market conditions. Challenging appraisal assignments are recognized and basic appraisal and valuation concepts in the context of applying them in the challenging assignment are reviewed as well. In addition, this course allows the participant to apply the material to well thought out appraisal assignments in the form of case studies. The material presented in this course is intended to expand on that understanding, while experiencing how conventional methods apply to non-conventional appraisal situations.
